Europe & Eurasia Leaders’ Training
Do you have a vision for living and speaking for Jesus at your workplace? Have you got a few friends around in your church or IFES group who could also get the vision?
Whether you are an experienced leader or just thinking about it for the first time, we would like to help you encourage those around you to see work as a context for mission.
This leaders’ conference is a place to meet others who are ‘having a go’. To share experience, learn from successes and failures, see Cross-Current material in practice, and pray for this work that we do together for God’s glory.

Cross-Current is a network of learning communities helping young Christian adults grow in their ability to think, live, and speak for Jesus at work.
Cross-Current uses a unique 6 Module curriculum linking biblical worldview to the formation of Christlike character as a foundation for whole-life-witness.

For new/interested leaders we will work through Modules 1 & 2 of the curriculum (Theology of Work, and Relationships at Work), and will be trained to use this material with an IFES or church group back home.
For existing leaders we will recap the biblical worldview from Modules 1 and 2, introduce you to the material in Modules 3 (Honesty/Integrity) and 4 (Money & Generosity), and work together to consider how Cross-Current may be used most effectively in different contexts.
We will train you to lead others using the Cross-Current curriculum.
We will help you form a strategy to integrate this ministry into your local church or IFES group.
We will coach you in the practicalities of recruiting and running a group.
We will train you to facilitate peer mentoring.
We will learn from each others’ experience and grow together as a community of leaders.

From 23-26 November 2023 we are running a conference for people leading or interested in leading Cross-Current groups in countries within Europe and Eurasia.
The conference will start in the evening of 23 November with dinner at 18.00 followed by our opening training sessions. We will end with lunch on Sunday 26 November, and you will be free to travel from 13.00 onwards.
The conference takes place in Woltersdorf, on the outskirts of Berlin.

The cost of this three day training event in 2023 will be €250 per person for a twin room (€300 for a single room) all meals included.
We have limited funding to help people attend the training who otherwise could not afford to come. If you would like to apply for a scholarship please let us know in your registration form. We cannot guarantee this and we will need to enquire more of your circumstances to help us make a fair decision.
If you would like to support someone else attending please also indicate this in your registration.
